Pair Rally Bar Mini with Tap IP
Step 1: Enable device pairing on Tap IP
On Tap IP’s Settings screen, tap System > Pair New Device.
Step 2: Retrieve device name and 4 character code from Rally Bar Mini
Press and hold the Bluetooth® button on the back of the device for 5 seconds.
On the display, identify the device name and its unique 4 character code.
Step 3: Confirm device pairing on Tap IP
On Tap IP, select the device with the name and unique 4 character code that match the details shown on the display.
If you do not see the device you want to pair, tap Search again and follow the instructions from step 2.
Tap Connect to confirm device pairing between Tap IP and Rally Bar Mini.
On Tap IP’s Settings screen, you will now see a tab for Tap IP and a tab for Rally Bar Mini.
On Logitech Tap, touch the Settings icon, then System Settings.
The Logitech Sync App installed on the computer connected to Rally Bar allows access to Rally Bar settings.
Logitech Sync Portal allows you to manage multiple Rally Bars and other select Logitech conferencing products. With Sync Portal you can check device status, firmware version, adjust settings, update firmware and more. Sync Portal is a cloud based application with end to end encryption has no default password and can manage The Rally Bar Mini from almost any location.
If you’re running The Rally Bar Mini in appliance mode with Zoom Rooms, you can also manage Rally Bar using Zoom Device Management (ZDM).
Yes, you can use the center button on the remote to save a new home position for the camera (move the camera to the new desired home position, then press and hold the home button for 5 seconds; you’ll hear a tone confirming the new location is saved). If a new home position is stored, the camera will move to that position at the start of a meeting. When Rally Bar Mini is not in use, the camera will return to the center position. If RightSight is enabled, the camera will not go to the Home position that was saved.
If you are using Tap or an IP-based controller, follow your service provider/platform’s instructions for reaching system/device settings. This will bring you to the Logitech settings application / CollabOS. When using an IP-based controller (such as an iPad) the Logitech settings application will be displayed on the TV screen, not the IP-based controller.
Using the remote control that came with Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, or RoomMate, press and hold the hookswitch (end call) button for 5 seconds.
The Rally Bar Mini provides optimal clarity and function when meeting participants are sitting at a distance of 1 – 7 meters (3 to 23 feet) from the camera. Within this range, the RightSight technology built into Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini easily detects participants and brings them into focus.
Only applications supplied by Logitech can be installed on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, RoomMate, Tap IP, and Tap Scheduler. For security reasons, only Logitech verified applications are allowed.
The Rally Bar Mini remote can be used to control the camera pan, tilt and zoom functionality when in Zoom Rooms appliance mode.
