- Required to activate Google Meet Hardware
- 12 month Google Meet Hardware license
- Shorter term available if co-terminating with existing Google Meet Hardware Licenses
How Meet hardware licenses work
- Meet hardware licenses are required in addition to your Google Workspace subscription.
- Licenses are sold for a one-year term from the date of purchase. If you purchase additional licenses, they’re prorated to end on the same date as the original license. Your renewal date will be the same for all licenses.
- If you plan to expand your Google Meet hardware use, you can buy extra licenses in advance so that you can easily enroll future devices.
- If you don’t renew your license before it expires, your subscription will enter a limited grace period. If your subscription is not renewed, it is canceled and you lose access to the Google Meet hardware section of the Google Admin console. After a period of time, delinquent devices are automatically deprovisioned and their data is permanently deleted. Once this happens, you can’t restore the data, even if you repurchase licenses.
